Valentines Day and Chocolate

Valentines day is upon us and that means enjoying some chocolate treats.  Dark chocolate in particular, has multiple health benefits:

  • high in potassium, copper, magnesium, and iron
  • increases bloodflow to the brain
  • studies show that it lowers blood pressure
  • it is high in antioxidants
  • it helps control blood sugar
  • it can improve your mood

Let’s all enjoy some dark chocolate and reap some health benefits at the same time!
